Hopeful Frock

Hopeful Frocks are an everyday statement piece that can be styled open, closed, layered or solo. I have tried out half a dozen different names for this style and I think Hopeful Frock may fit the best. I want it to feel like a cloak of hopefulness that carries you through your day. 

These 3/4 sleeves are finished with our hand dyed hem tape. They can be rolled up the same as our jacket sleeves. 

In 2025 we added a back waist cinching channel and side ties to this style, making it even more versatile with an adjustable waist.

This Hopeful Frock is crafted from a linen shirt in dove grey. The contrast fabric is a vintage textured woven cotton in a multi colored soft summer plaid pattern.

This one-of-a-kind Frock features:

• Short sleeves with double sided cuffs
• Bias bound seams inside, using our very own handmade bias tape
• Hand dyed linen fabric
  
• Large lined pockets
  
• Banded collar
• Our original hand written tag
  

Frocks can be worn open or closed. If you would like the option to wear yours buttoned, we recommend ordering a Frock that has chest, waist, and hip measurements at least 2" above your own body measurements. The measurements of this Frock can be seen in the final photo. 

Because all materials have been pre-washed, you don't need to worry about your Flux Bene shrinking, stretching or pilling. All are machine washable and can be tumble dried.
