Sustainable Clothing from Reused Textiles

Flux Bene is an art-focused, sustainable clothing line designed and produced in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, by textile reuse artist Rebekah Joy and her small team of talented fiber artists.

The team uses creative pattern-making and surface design techniques, such as screen printing, hand-dyeing, painting, quilting, and stamping, to transform cast-off garments into wearable art. Since 2017, Flux Bene has reimagined over 3,000 garments that would otherwise likely have been sent to a landfill.

Featuring large pockets, reinforced seams, and natural fibers, Flux Bene pieces are made to last and are intended for everyday wear. All Flux Bene pieces are gender-neutral, zero-waste, and one-of-a-kind. We take great care to ensure the line is size-inclusive.

We are currently expanding our offering to include PDF patterns & sewing guides for our original designs, empowering stitchers worldwide to upcycle unwanted clothing already in their communities.

Flux Bene is committed to offering sustainable, unique, and fun clothing options for humans who are thoughtful, kind, and creative.

tally of reused garments: 3,599 as of 5.12.26
