I began FLUX BENE in 2017 as a response to human & environmental abuses perpetuated by the global fast fashion clothing industry. I believe that overproduction (and greed of course) is at the root of this problem. By reimagining the clothing that already exists in our communities and consuming fewer new clothing items, we can collectively make a real difference. 

I have been traveling to art markets and shipping my one-of-a-kind upcycled garments internationally since 2018. From the very beginning, my goal has been to offer patterns & guides to empower other kind & creative people to upcycle their own clothing. I am thrilled to finally be offering these patterns to you!! We have sewn each of these designs in our studio hundreds of times over the years. These patterns & methods are tried and true.

I hope that I can help people to see their clothing (and all of the old clothing in their communities) as a resource that can remain valuable with a little bit of creativity and thoughtfulness.
