Color Story Jacket

This batch of Color Story jackets have the same fit and pockets as our Sketchbook Jackets. These short sleeved slightly cropped Jackets work well alone or over tees/ crop tops in warm months, and even over sweaters when it starts to get chilly. 

The large pockets feature a wide top entry, and also a side entry for hand comfort. The button at each pocket's outer top corner can be undone if you are into a smaller diagonal pocket. This is a quick video illustrating the pockets.

We are committed to reuse and creating as little waste as possible in the process of making our work. All of the color wheel designs on the Color Story Jackets were created using small scraps of fabric that we saved from previous collections.

This short sleeved jacket is crafted from a heavy cotton work shirt that I dyed a deep ocean blue. The pockets and back color wheel are created from small pieces of cotton fabric in a cool color palette. Some of the color wheel fabrics are hand dyed.

Sketchbook Jackets can be worn open or closed. If you would like the option to wear yours buttoned, we recommend ordering a Jacket that has chest, waist, and hip measurements at least 2" above your own body measurements. Because all materials have been pre-washed, you don't need to worry about your Flux Bene shrinking or stretching. All are machine washable and can be tumble dried.
