Sewing / Design / Business Help

Maybe you are stuck on a project that you want to finish, or you have a sewing or upcycling idea, and you want to run it past someone who has done it before. 

I have sewn professionally since 2012, and have taught sewing in group & individual settings since 2015. I do not know everything about sewing (I never will, that's why I love it!), but I do know an awful lot. 

Projects I have completed for clients and classes include garment sewing from vintage and modern patterns, upholstery, casual & formal alterations, furniture slip covers, drapery & curtains, bags, swimsuits, making patterns from existing garments, quilts, slippers, scarves, hats, and dog fashion : )

I have worked with surface design techniques such as appliqué, natural dyes, synthetic non-toxic dyes, screen printing, block printing, fabric painting and more.

Upcycling and sustainable design is always at the forefront of my projects.

I also have some experience with small sewing business start up & management, grant writing, website creation, product photography, selling at markets, etc. 

In the process of all of this sewing, designing, and business making, I have made A LOT of mistakes, and I would love to save you from making some of the same ones.

This listing is for 20 minutes of personalized one-on-one assistance via telephone or video (your choice). Some specific sewing or sewing machine related questions will require either video or photos to solve the problem.
