They are cut to land around the hip, and they have a softly curved front hem. We were going to make one, but I didnt want to cover up the beautiful shibori patterning on the back applique. We added a little button \u0026amp; loop closure at the neckband and called it a day. Maybe someone wants one without a hood? Is it still a cape if it doesn't have a hood? Everything is an experiment : )\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis maybe-cape was created from a cotton sweatshirt in indigo blue. The pockets and appliques are stitched from cotton canvas that I hand dyed with shibori style resist patterning.
